How to test on Production

We all know that we shouldn’t do testing on Production environment, but sometimes it’s needed. Following are a few things that you need to be aware when doing a test on Production environment:

Use “Hungry Hub Training” Restaurant

Our system has an automation script to deactivate “Hungry Hub Training” restaurant every 5 minutes, so there is a very little chance for Restaurant Test to showing up on home page.

“Sasin Demo” is a Test restaurant, but showing up on homepage It’s a problem for us if there is a real user make a booking to Restaurant Test

Make package commission to be zero

when package commission is not zero, it would affect our report. see following image There are sasin demo and restaurant demo QA showing up in sales team report if you can’t make the commission to be zero because specific reason, you need to cancel the booking after the testing is done
