GROUP CATEGORY params Explanation
a booking can be made for more than 1 group.
Online people will search for the number of participants and the system will distribute the participants in groups.
A group is defined by a maximum number of people, in example a group can be between 1 and 8 people.
If 8 or less people a trying to book, you will receive a request for 1 vacany (group) and the information of how may people they are (groupsize).
If more than 8 people are tryin to book, in example 12, the request will be for 1 group with the maximum number accepted (8) and 1 group for the remaining people (4).
You will not receive a request like:
"category" : "GROUP",
"groupSize" : 12,
"count" : 2,
This will always have this form:
{ "category" : "GROUP",
"groupSize" : 8,
"count" : 1,
"retailPrice" : 9900 },
{ "category" : "GROUP",
groupSize" : 4,
"count" : 1,
"retailPrice" : 9900 }
So the count will never be greater than 1, but you may receive more in a single request
What you should take in consideration, it depends from what you set. The basic for Group is to take in consideration the vacancies, so the number of Group, but if you have a tier pricing based on the number of People, than both inoromation should be taken in consideration.
