Implementing Blockage for Sevenroom and Tablecheck Booking

Old Booking Flow:

When a user books an HH package on the SevenRooms or TableCheck site, sometimes the date and time they selected can be sold to someone else during their booking process. If this happens, the system shows an error because we didn’t create a temporary reservation for SevenRooms or TableCheck.

New Booking Flow:

In our new booking flow, we have added a blockage system. This system creates a temporary reservation that lasts for 30 minutes. This allows the user to complete their booking without worrying that their seat will be taken. During this time, the same date and time will appear as sold to other users, so they won’t get any error messages.
