FAQ Section

Overview

This feature introduces a dynamic FAQ section for individual restaurant pages to improve SEO visibility and user engagement. The content will be curated based on real user search behavior using tools like “People Also Ask” (PAA) from Google. The goal is to extract relevant questions users are already asking about the restaurant or its offerings and display concise, helpful answers. Additionally, FAQ structured data (schema.org markup) will be implemented for each restaurant page to improve eligibility for Google Rich Results.


Problem Statement

Currently, HungryHub restaurant pages lack dynamic, SEO-rich content that addresses common user queries. This:

  • Limits organic discoverability via search engines.
  • Misses opportunities to improve CTR from search results via rich snippets.
  • Leads to repetitive customer support questions that could be answered on-page. By adding curated FAQ content tailored per restaurant, we address SEO performanceuser experience, and customer support deflection simultaneously.

Design Considerations

  • UI Placement: FAQ block to be positioned after the restaurant's package details or near the bottom, but above the footer.
  • Expandable Accordion: FAQ items should use accordion UI to keep the interface compact.
  • Mobile Optimization: Ensure responsive design with collapsible components.
  • Schema Markup: Only visible FAQs will be included in the structured data. Max 10 recommended.
