Overview

Opensearch is a document-oriented search engine, so it doesn’t store data in tables or rows like a relational database. And there’s no ALTER table command to modify the schema of an index. Instead, you can create a new index with the desired schema and reindex the data from the old index to the new index.

So whenever the data get out of sync reindex from the original source (hh-server) to the search index (OpenSearch) by clicking the “Rebuild index” button in the HH Admin Dashboard UI.
